Goldwind’s 6.7 MW platform will be the largest offshore turbine in China and, combined with the LM 75.1 P, it is designed specifically for the Wind Class I offshore areas in South China off the coasts of Fujian and Guangdong.

The new blade development continues our long-standing collaboration with Goldwind in China. In January 2017, we announced our newly-developed 66.9 meter blades for Goldwind's 3MW wind turbine platform, the GW3S, were installed successfully on the first prototype turbine in Zhangbei.
LM Wind Power has been present in China since 2001 and currently employs around 2,500 people in the country. We operate four blade manufacturing facilities in Tianjin, Qinhuangdao, Jiangyin and are ramping up production in Baodi.
The first LM 75.1 P prototype blade, the largest blade manufactured by our team in China, was successfully produced on September 12 in the Jiangyin plant.
